Computer in fact have two types of memories RAM and ROM
ROM :-Read only memory
Read -only memory (ROM) chips have information stored in them by manufacturer. unlike RAM chip, ROM chips are not volatile and can not be changed by the users. "Read only " means that the CPU can be read, or retrieve data, and progrems written on the ROM chips. However the computer can not written code or change the information or instructions in the ROM.
ROM chips typically contains special instructions for a detailed computer operation. For example, ROM instructions are needed to start a computer, to access memory, and to handle basic keyboard input.
